An update of an old pic...
I don't think I posted this updated version of the kids jumping. I softened the faces, and tried to make them more appealing for a children's book audience - larger eyes, bigger smiles. I also decided to give the kids matching and more organic hair.

I just wanted to be playful with the stereotype, whilst working on a more greetings card approach.

I wanted to develop my use of character design, creating a wide range of people whilst still working in a consistent style.
